Hi, I’m Crissy Collins, and I wholeheartedly understand what it means to build a business from nothing and then sell it.

Over a decade ago, my husband and I launched our HVAC venture with zero startup capital. We leaned on determination, grit, and long hours—pitching services to anyone who would listen, handling calls from home at all hours of the night, a real "hair-on-fire" scenario.

 

Pretty quickly, that bare-bones operation turned into a thriving, multi‑state HVAC business. Watching it grow and overcoming every challenge along the way—shaped me as an entrepreneur.

Eventually, we sold that business in that complex, emotional sale process. Then I started up another HVAC business from scratch, using the lessons learned to build smarter, faster.

Along the way I learned two things:

1.) I have the utmost respect for business owners. I know what its like to worry if your revenue will cover payroll for the week. I know how it feels to tell your daughter that Daddy is working late again and won't be home for bedtime stories. I've lived it. 

2.) I needed the kind of business broker I’ve become today.

 

That profound insight sparked a new direction.

Now, as a business broker, I offer more than transactional support—I provide empathy, expertise, and a listening ear. Having lived the entire lifecycle of a business—startup, scale-up, and exit—I’m the broker I wish I had during my sale.
